| | In the words of my fav comedian “PULLING FOR A THIRD SEASON!!!”

Honestly, I could probably blog about ten different reasons (cause typing a hundred would be absurd to do in five minutes) why I’m still a fledging Xangan/Blogger. But one of the key themes to having people stick around is content. And with the content that usually spews out here, who am I to say that I would leave just because some shit just got blown on some pro-lifer whining about why abortion is bad because her father raped her and forced her to get one. I stay here for the petty e-fights and nasty hair pulling between the users on this site. While I’ve yet to get entangled in all of this, I’ve stayed glued to my computer screen more than my old plastic box with a remote to even change the channel – seriously, Oprah & Dr. Phil is like Barney compared to THEO!!! Back in 2008, I returned to Xanga and found myself emerged with some pretty whoop ass entries; courtesy of authors like Nori, Eadie, Carmen, Sachi, and at some point, a part-time follower of TheTheologianscafe. With very witty/amusing posts, I had a reason to always log onto Xanga each and every day. There was always something somewhat readable out of my main fifty subscriptions. But what really drew me in was the amount of Xanga Drama that spewed all over the universal inboxes that were just instated. From fledging fights on the Xanga beauty pageants to dissing their momma, I actually started reading more than watching a rerun of Seinfeld. I religiously read my subscriptions page as if it were the newspaper (cuz there are news topics that are used to help cement their weblog post) There was always a post to read whenever there’d be boring times. Granted, back during that year, I just blogged about my usual ramblings and me giving a sandwich to a homeless man, there was a colorful array of users who kept the Xangaslash rolling. When I started blogging a little more of myself and the things I’d think about, I gradually started earning some more feedback in the process – to the point where I was swept up in the attention whoring game: YEAAAAAAAH *putz down the crunk juize* Aside from me craving attention, I stayed somewhat tame until the winter of that same year. While this year is left to be a little desirable, I think there still is a great variety of users who are able to attract more readers. I may not be one of them, but hell, long as SOMEONE is still making waves on this site, then I won’t go off so easily… just yet PS: Long as newsworthy articles keep getting created this year, then Xanga isn't completely dead. Its just having some coffee breaks in between the illeagal acts being sometimes created due to an online stalker posing as someone's hot Asian girlfriend |
